I have reglazed all my windows and now I have to put them back in. Does anyone know the proper size butyl tape I need to buy? And do I put it on the boat, the window or both?
John, Assuming you have the aluminum framed windows - I used Life Seal - applying it generously to the frames only. But, you want to only tighten the screws about 90% initially, letting the Life Seal cure for a week or two so it forms a gasket, then tighten the rest of the way. Good luck.
What about replacing the bathroom window with the catalina direct opening window. I have heard good and bad things about it. It seems like a nice convenience. What do you think?
