Looking for something to tow behind the boat? Check out the cheap ride listed on e-bay #246387914. Low reserve. I'd think they would have custom wheels on the trailer for that price.

I bought a plastic Walker Bay 8 for just under $400. I also used an inflatable Sevylor $50.

I also bought the Walker Bay 8 for $400. I wanted a inexpensive dink and since we trailer a lot, it is getting moved around a lot and I wanted something that would take the abuse of being loaded on and off the top of the van. The sail rig is fun also.

You can build a cheap plywood pram from plans at www.bateau.com for ca. $250 if you alrwady have the resin and fibreglass. It's not great, but it works.

RichardG, Mac26x?!?! That's blasphemy! Go wash your mouth out!

triley,

I built a D4 8' stitch&glue pram from plywood, epoxy and fiberglass using free downloaded plans. It was easy, and a lot of fun. But it was time consuming! If a plastic Walker Bay, or an inflatable Sevylor suits your needs and budget, go for it.

Can you mount the Walker Bay 8 to the deck or cabin top, or do you tow it?
