I am considering getting a Bimini Top for my C-25 Standard Rig. If anyone already has one I would appreciate any of the folllowing informaiton. Do they tend to be in the way more often than not? Can they be used ok underway ? Are they woth while consideri

I have a bimini on my C25 SR SK and love it. With the standard rig, the boom is high enough to give pretty fair head room. The bimini is mounted far enough forward to allow me to steer with full view of the main or with the hiking stick, I can sit under

i installed a bimini from catalina direct on my 86 tall rig last summer. the cost was $302. installation was very easy. i sail with the bimini up off the wind with no trouble. since i have a tall rig it's a bit too tight a fit upwind. very happy the admir

Hi Ted (Metoac),

My bimini top got torn up when I bought my boat and trailered her home, so I had a replacement made. The frame for my bimini top is the two-bow type.

There was a thread on this bulletin board a few months ago about sewing your own
