When I got ready to leave the house this morning I smelled smoke in the garage. Karen and I started looking all over for a fire. Finally I saw smoke coming from a pile of blankets the dog sleeps on. Sunlight coming through the garage window was being focused on the blankets by the right front wheel of my 2001 Mustang. This started the blankets smouldering. We still can't believe it. However, I held my hand in the light coming off the wheel and it was very hot. Indiscipline's spare gas tank was nearby!
Now Jim, you just said Mustang, you didn't mention one word about cobra. I'll change my statement it must have been your hot exhaust. I'm in process of getting a new engin in our 63 corvett rag top. I just finished painting it last year at the local c college adn the engin decided to take a dump. Got my hands on a ZZ4 and a friend is putting it in. When it is ready I'll have to take a road trip and perhaps we can compair scratch. Here it is when we got it, two crashes ago. No idea how many happended before we go it.
Here it is last year with the elder getting ready for school The pop up lights were removed and the trun signals shaved off. I replaced the turn signal pods with color crayon banks I wired and fiberglassed on.

Thank goodness you found it in time! A C-25 isn't big enough for 4 to liveaboard, although it would cut down your transit time to the boat. I hope to see you guys this weekend if I get done reinspecting my house for fire hazards.
