I'm sure this topic has been covered "ad nauseum" on this forum, but I'm in need of your advice. I plan on doing the swing keel maintenance thing this year, ( cable, ball, winch,). Have never done it before. Boat is now in the water. I know nothing about this procedure. Any comments appreciated.

John,
You are right, check the archives one this subject. Tons of stuff there. I would also change the cabe fixture on the keel and the hanger brackets and pivot pin while you have evrything apart.
