Just got back from a club race. I was racing against SanJuan 23's MacGregor 26's (not X) and an assortment of other boats. My 250WB is faster at almost every point of sail except downwind where it is much slower. Anyone got any hints other than a chute fo

Raise the center.

Decide about going directly downwind or bearing off...usually bearing off produces better results. If going directly downwind...using a pole is a must wing and wing.

Move crew forward...get the stern up.

Ensure that vang is ha
