What are all the different sources for replacement tillers for a 25? Have you had good or bad experiences with them?

Thanks.

Catalina Direct - exact duplicate of original. Don't recall the cost.

Almost all of them are made at H&L woodwork out in california. regardless of if you buy them from the factory, CD, defender marine, boat us etc.

(323)636-1718 is the number. they are usually 8 to 15 bucks cheaper. You can also get them unfinished if you prefer to put your own finish on.

I just replaced my tiller last month. West Marine is out of the tiller business. The gentleman I spoke with at WM (I couldn't find tillers in the new catalog or on line) told me the vender and WM were having some sort of problem. I then called Catalina Direct and they have them in stock and had mine to me in 3 days. I am at work so I don't have the invoice in front of me but I think it cost about $60. As stated earlier H&L Wood in California does appear the be the primary supplier. WM probably told them what they would pay for them and H&L, not being willing to except the price told them to go jump.
