Could someone post a picture of the keel crank? Someone has been welding on mine. What I have now is a one piece unit that screws on the winch and stays there. The crank cannot be removed unless it is unscrewed from the winch. The problem is that it is 1" too short It cannot be turned with the winch bolted tight to the top step. This is probably why the winch was very loosely bolted and wobbling all over the place when I got the boat. Is the winch supposed to be bolted flush to the bottom of the step or is there a spacer? Thanks, Dan

On my boat, there are wedged-shaped spacers under the winch that change it's angle in relation to the steps. If those are missing... it may be the source of your problems.
