I have seen a “wire basket” ring buoy bracket on a few boats, but can’t find out who sells them. A search on the web has been futile. The basket is semi-circular, open on top so the buoy is easy to pull and fling. The wire is probably 3/16” stainless round stock and looks pretty simple. It mounts on the stern pulpit. This would be for a round ring buoy. Thank you. Todd Frye
Thanks for your leg work Don. Bracket "E" is close, but it's for a horse shoe buoy. The bracket I've seen may be out of production, but as usuall, that's the one I've gotta have. I just located some srap stainless 3/16" round stock...30 cents a foot, so I may just make it. Thanks again. Todd Frye
So much great help...but so far, no banana. My fears of "out of production" are looming large. Hope all you salty dawgs are able to splash and get that long awaited first sail of the season in. It's great to be out on the water again. Thanks for your time on this one. Fair winds. Todd Frye.
