Hi, Charlie. Glad you made it home. Hopefully with no problems. You must have arrived back in China Lake pretty late.
Jim and Karen had to go pick up their daughter so Susie and I sailed until well after dark. We first sailed Mission Bay with practically no one "on the pond". Then out the channel with very flat water. Our son (19) and daughter (18) had opted to go to the San Diego Zoo so by the time we returned they were hungry so we found a local Souplantation restaurant and ended a fine day with good food.
Had to do lots of house projects this week but will be taking my Dad down to the boat Sunday evening through Wednesday (or?).
BTW, did you get your boat pulled forward on the trailer enough to have the bow in the pads?
Where do you plan to launch next?
Glad to have been of some help in your first launching.
Charlie, welcome to the association and the Catalina family. What a fabulous set of pictures for your maiden vogage and weekender. From the pictures your kids seemed to be having a great time and I sure you did also. Hope you have many more in the near future.
Welcome....I also sail Puget Sound. You may want to consider a cabin heater. We had the Dickenson propane heater (vented) installed on our boat. It has a nice cozy flame.
