Last year I rebedded the windows. I used plumbers puddy instead of the urethane caulking everyone talked about. The puddy didn't get real hard and flexibily is important when you talk about expansion and contraction differences between aluminum and fibe

I don't want to negate your hard work, but plumbers putty tends to crystalize over time. All the plumbers I've talked to while remodeling my house (kitchen sink installation specifically) don't even use the stuff there.
