Today is Seattle's traditional "opening day" of boating season. There's a rowing regatta, boat parade, and a whole lot of boats on the booms. Hundreds of boats will got through the locks from Lake Washington to the Sound, and many more will be tied to a large log boom to wave & welcome. As of now it's in the mid 70s. Very slight overcast, and just a hint of a breeze. Having a crew consisting of pre-teen girls I'll be watching soccer games until about 4:30, but then soccer is over and the wind will pick up a bit, and I'll be trying to get a rail down without spilling my drink...
