I am now KEEPER Of THE FLAME. After converting the lame Princess stove to propane I am not afraid to venture out into the vast expanse of the world!! I will grab my woman by the hair and drag her onto the boat and proudly set off into the great unknown...Alright, the stove works great and we can cook on the boat and enjoy the day on the lake. Now on to the next project.

My 250 came with a Princess butane stove. The canisters are as Arlyn put it rinky-dink. Small and rather difficult to change. The first time I used mine it froze up. It has been relieved of its duty and disposed of properly. Laid to rest in the dumpster.
I replaced the canister and regulator only. I purchased the valve that Arlyn shows on his web site and the necessary fitting to attach the hoses. Just remember to open the valve to the first position to keep the flame under control. Very easy conversion and quite the flame thrower.
We don't mind our butane stove. It cooks fine for most meals & if cooking something that will take longer just keep 2 cans of butane & switch them when one gets cold. No problem! Of course we love our Magma grill for summer cooking when its too hot to cook "inside".

"And she will obey your every command, stand watch, cook, mend wounds and always have that loving look in her eyes."
