I have had some correspondance with people who have joined the forum and were looking for the member name and password to access the member only sections of our web site.
Just want y'awl to know that there are two separate "joining" actions:
1. Joining the forums so that you can contribute to the discussions, and
2. Joining the National Association, paying the annual dues ($20) and receiving Mainsheet, a discount for Boats US and having access to the member only sections of this web site. When one joins the NA one will receive a welcome letter with the member name and password so that they can access the member only stuff.
Thought some of y'awl might noot understand this, so . . ..

The discount is for a discounted Boat US membership.
Also note - Joining this forum is free and does not require membership.
Thanks Duane, you are correct being a dues paying member of the Association provides discount for a Boasts US membership, not for stuff you buy from them.
