Hi one & all! I have just returned from a weeks cruise of the caribbean (yes, it was on one of those floating townships - but at least I was on the water!) While in St. Maarten I got to race (as mainsheet trimmer) on the old Stars & Stripes (US #55) again

Derek,

My wife and I are thinking about a the same, or similar cruise next year. I'm looking forward to the America Cup racing in St M's. Thanks for the plug.

Wow, that must have been a BLAST ! Do you have any pics you could post. Either from ship or shore I'd love to see.

Racing on Stars and Stripes sounds like a once in a life time opportunity. How did you guys make it happen? Pictures would be a vicarious thrill for those of us unable to pull it of. Todd Frye

Todd - we booked our jaunt through the Cruise Line
(Princess). It cost $82.00 each and was worth every penny, although I imagine it would be a bit cheaper if booked direct. Unfortunately the only pic I have is one of our crew on the boat - most uninteres
