I will risk redundancy to ask whether any of you have had this trouble with the Princess propane stove (factory installed in the 2000 WK): the tank is full, the valve is open, the ignitor clicks, there is a high whistling sound - not a gas hiss, but a treble wheeze - and nothing happens. No gas seems to be coming through the line. There is no gas smell, either. Any notion?
Tried matches but nothing, alas. Neither air nor gas is coming through. Might be time to phone the former owner & ask what I'm doing wrong -- if I can catch him when he's not on his Islander 28.
The sound when you open the valve means that gas is escaping somewhere... if not at the burner, I'd look for a broken line between the valve and the burner.
