I have a 135% (I think) jib with a roller furling system on a WK 250 (Tall Rig). I thought I was told to run the jib sheets inboard of the shrouds to a truck on a track on the deck and then back to the winch. The track has markings on it for various jib sizes. When rigged like this it just seems very wrong. When fully unfurled the jib sheets bend back around the shrouds unless I run the truck fully forward. The owners manual does not seem to address this aspect of the rig.
Here's the deal. Your tall rig was build in '97 or '98 I'd guess and was offered with the advent of the wing keel model. Not long after its release, the problem of the sheets was discovered when using a 135% jib.
For that reason, wing keel models saw a change of the mounting of the shroud chain plates to a cabin top location rather than near the rub rail. This allowed jib sheet routing outboard of the shrouds with limited problems.
The solution is not a great one but it works. It is to run two sets of sheets, one inside and one outside. When reefing the jib, use the inboard sheets. This has been reported to the forum to work ok.
