I don't know about a new set of cushions from Catalina....but you might try a company called Bottom Siders for a great set of closed cell foam cockpit cushions. The will make 'em to your specs.
I think they are available from Catalina Direct. There are two types the standard ones of the type that were supplied with the boat, and more expensive ones that don't retain water. www.catalinadirect.com
I bought mine from Catalina 4-5 years ago. They are white vinyl-covered foam and I've been very satisfied with them. I thought they were an excellent value too- paid about $200 for the pair.
I have vinyl cockpit cushions, but the family prefers the four Sport-a-Seats I purchased from West Marine a couple of years ago. With their ratcheting backrests, I can adjust the seat angles to conform to either the forward bulkheads in the cockpit or up against the stern pulpit. If someone wants to stretch out, the seats can simply be layed flat.
I bought the West Marine brand version of this seat during a buy one($90.00) get one half off ($45.00) sale, which they have quite often. The only issue I have with these, is that the West Marine branded chairs don't have the same firmness as the actual Sport-a-Seat branded chairs. It's not a real big deal, but I would have preferred the more firmer chair.
George, In addition to all the great imput you've already gotten with your seat cushion question, let me add another great company. The folks at C Cushions make an outstanding product at a very competitive price. They have the dimensions for the C-25 and, like Bottom Siders, will give you closed cell foam with a variety of colors, pin stripes and boat names if you'd like. They will also divide your cushions in sections that match your seat locker opening if you'd like. I'm on my 3rd boat in 15 years and I'm also on my 3rd set of C Cushions. Here's their info: C Cushions, Inc. 206 Hwy. 35 South Rockport, Texas 78382 www.ccushions.com They're also great when you decide to lounge in the water when at anchor!
One additional comment. I like Jim's idea of buying cockpit cushions in sections. I finally abandoned my Catalina made-to-fit vinyl and foam cushions because they made lazarette and gad locker access such a pain. Also, they are basic sponges when it rains or sprays into the cockpit. I purchased for under $100 two four by two foot closed cell cushions which are ight, easy to maneuver, comfortable, stay dry, but which have one untoward complication: in a gale they can blow right out of your grasp is you're not careful.

For what it's worth, I picked up a couple of West Marine's version of the Sport-a-Seat today on their "Buy one, get one free" deal: 2 for $89.99. The store near my home told me last week that the sale was over but I got these today at the Kendall, FL store.
I bought them at West Marine, two years ago. Have you noticed how time reduces the price you pay for anything to do with your boat? I may have paid more than $100. But I am a cheapskate, so it is unlikely. Probably they were dented or dirty, or faded or something.
I have cockpit cushions for my boat...came with it from the PO. The PO had cut one cushion into 2 pieces so that he could access the locker.
However, I don't really like them - no one in my family does. They aren't really that comfortable and they just take up space in the cabin. I think there are probably cheaper alternatives.
For example, canoe and kayak paddlers use a lot of closed cell foam to pad their boats, any whitewater boat/supply shop will have all types of configurations of the stuff. You can buy the size you need and be sure to ask for some Dragon Skin to shape it to mold your boat. "Dragon Skin" is a small sheet of metal that looks like a side of a cheese grater and is used like sandpaper to shape the foam. Works great and they will know what you are asking for.
On the web you can find whitewater supply shops like Northwest River Supplies (NRS), Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC) and many many others.
Years ago I picked up two So-Pac cushions at West Marine -- they're not quite as long and not quite as wide as a C25 cockpit seat, but they're durable and comfortable and best of all, cost about $ 35. They come in grey and blue, and especially combined with a Sport-a-seat, do just fine. They're closed cell, so they float and don't absorb water.
The costs of Bottomsiders and C Cushions are, to me, outrageous.
We use closed cell foam with Sunbrella covers that we made. Real simple just cut the foam to shape with rounded corners. Trace about 1/2 inch outside of the foam for 1 and1/2 foam and cut two pieces of acrylic with 1/2 seam allowance. Sew around four corners and three sides, turn inside out, stuff, and close the last side with hand stitching. Dave

There we go with more of that fru-fru sewing stuff. I'm starting to wish I had taken Home Ec in high school.
