Ok, the name thread is fun, but I might need a little more amusement in the duldrums before Spring. Show me a picture that will make me pull the tarp off and head out in the rain! For starters, here's Noeta spending the night at Eagle Island...

Hi there "mroettersr",
The first thing you need to do is to find a place on the internet to store your photos ... Shutterfly is free ... here is the link:
Once stored, all you need to do is to use your mouse to copy the URL address of the photo you stored in Shutterfly, click on the "Insert Image" icon at the top of the bulletin board message, then paste the URL of your photo between the image brackets.
Once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy. I would you suggest you try the "Testing Forum" until you work out the bugs, then post your photos to this topic thread.
Thanks. It's an 11' Shellback Dinghy, from plans supplied by Woodboat magazine. I think they actually offer this boat in a kit now, but this one was built from scratch. Building a boat takes a lot more patience than skill. I have the 10' mast, tiller & rudder yet to build, then I'm having the sail cut from my old Catalina 25 mainsail. Here's a shot that shows more of the inside. These pictures are from the initial launching, back in November.
Had a nice sail weekend before last. I bought a Sky Ship kite at Wal-mart and flew it off the stern when anchored. It looks like a square rigger except the sails are facing down.
This Friday the 1st will be my 46th birthday. My brother who is two minutes older than I is having a party at his house on the St. Johns River Saturday. He's been living in St. Augustine for years and just got this place this month. So it will be a combination house warming/birthday.
Yesterday he called and pretty much insisted I bring Chick-a-pea. It's about 20nm south of where the marina is. So I'm planning on a two night trip. David is a stick potter w/ a 22' Grady White. We use it to scuba dive off shore. He's also Coast Guard Aux.
