John,

In your to-do list you had the stem fitting question I did.

I bought the new fitting, with bow roller, from Catalina Direct. It came with no instructions. However, I did install it and did not need to compromise the aluminum rubrail holder

When I replaced the stem fitting on Buzz I found that I had a nearly 1 inch overbite between the stem and the hull which left a 1 inch gap between the new tang and the hull. I've noticed since that there is a great deal of variance between boats none of w

Thanks for the info! It looks like that is going to be next weekend's project. Just finishing up the storage space project this week.

Bob,

You got the same stem/roller that I wrote about in my post to John Mason. The extra part is the backer plate that bolts inside the anchor locker.

Do the work, and you will like it, extra confidence, easy anchoring.
