My family and I are joining my inlaws and going back to the Currituck area of NC to vacation in a couple of weeks. Although we were not sailors the last time we were there, I don't seem to remember any sailboats other than small day sailors. We also saw only a few power boats. Am I remembering this correctly? If so, is it because it's shallow? I would like to take the inlaws out for a sail on a more stable boat. Any suggestions?
