I would like to replace the frame in my dodger and get some repairs done to the canvas and windows. Is there a better way to attach a grab-rail than drilling a hole in the frame? This makes a weak point that is prone to cracking (see photo). Any ideas on a source for stainless bent to my spec's?
Thanks!

It would seem that "tube slides" (or sleeves) like the one in your picture could be positioned on the the bimini frame, and then a an end-eye could be fit onto or into each end of the grab handle--then a bolt connects through the slide and the eye. No holes, and the handle is removable. You should be able to get any custom canvas shop to bend the tubing for you--they do it all the time when making biminis.
