Does anyone have a good system/instructions for wiring for shore power? Plan on doing some bay sailing most of the marinas offer 30, would rather install shore power instead of running a cord over the boat into the cabin with extensions, etc.

Debbie, I would get a copy of Charlie Wing's book on boat wiring and Nigel Calder's on boat maintainence. They both have great information. Sometimes you have to adjust their stuff down to smaller boats like ours. Calder in particular has a lot of information you should read about galvanic corrosion and grounding etc. I must warn you thought that Nigel is pretty conservative.

If you run a search on this topic on these forums you'll find a lot of good info that pertains directly your boat as to what to use, where to locate things, safety, etc.

Hi Debbie,

I sure agree with Todd regarding his two choices of good reading material for setting up 110 VAC. In addition, here is a link to the C25 Parts Manual in the Brochures section of the website. It shows the factory shore power setup.

On Snickerdoodle, I changed the 20 amp breaker with a 5 breaker panel that has two 20 amp breakers and three 10 amp breakers - plus a reverse polarity warning light.
