Havent forgotten you guys, was out sailing for two weeks.. Boy, it's not hard to get used to seeing 7-8 knots all day long. Makes the crew happy too when things are moving along. And, Murphy was asleep at the wheel, we had North winds on our way South, then they flipped around for the trip back North. When was the last time that happened. I had the whisker pole out more than half the time. Once we had an 8 hour sleigh ride down the middle of the bay in 25-35 knots of wind....St.Michaels to Solomons, what a cruise!
I wont bore you with the gory details of the lightning strike we took days before the cruise, (we were not on board) As a result of that it was just like the 250, windex and handheld VHF, with a pod of dead instruments in front of me.....Neptune can be cruel.
Still, we had a ball. Anyone ever see the TopClimber advertised? It works...well. But 60 feet is a long way above the water....
Oscar, very nice picture, when I was young I thought that was neat, but now my heart starts pounding just thinking about it. Sounds like you had a great two weeks. How about some more pictures. Do you plan on still parking your new baby down south this winter?
