I'm in the process of designing the lettering for my new 250 WK (tiller), but it's being built so can't do this myself right now.

Judging from the many photos of other 250's. most folks seem to put the hailport on the center section of the transom & the names on the stern quarters. I need the width of the center section so I can calculate letter size & spacing for the hailport (Annapolis, MD). Any suggestions for placement & lettering materials are appreciated.

Thanks

I put mine on the port side under the swim ladder. If you put it in the center then the rudder covers some of it up. I used two inch block letters for the hailport. Mine is FLEMING ISLAND, FL. about the same number of letters as yours. I put FLEMIMG ISLAND on top with FL center below it.

Frog0911,

I hadn't thought of that location, but it makes sense. With the ladder up it would be unobstructed.

Thanks for the info.
