I have mentioned my queen size bed system in my traditional interior in innumerable posts, (Here's another!), my technique was to make another table section the same size as the existing sections and lay them across the settees. Last night I brought a new queen size inflatable mattress to the boat... it did not fit. What I have had was a double not a queen! So I am back to the wood pile to make another section. The queen absolutely filled the space between the main bulkhead and the galley and athwart-ship with the back cushions taken out. doh
As I have said to many fellow airplane drivers, on many occasions over the years..."if that's the worse thing you ever do in an airplane (boat), you are in good shape!"
