No complaints, just good times. Mondays are very quite at Lake Lanier in Georgia and that is when I usually sail. Today was a good day; a little warm, 90 degrees and sunny. Winds light, out of the southeast at 5 to 12 knots (at times). I set the centerboard at 80 % deployment and on a port tack I crossed the lake hands free with a deviation of 2 degrees on the pedestal compass. Since I chose to sail to windward, I had to tack several times to clear the main channel and get to a large bay. Once in the bay, I skirted the shoreline for a few miles and ate lunch as I headed back to the marina on a beam reach as the afternoon breeze died out. Nothing broke, nothing leaked, nothing went out of control. A good day and a good sail. Just wanted to share. Ed Schaefer
