The drydock next to my marina focuses on 'mid-sized' vessels, usually large tugs, passenger ferries, work barges, etc. It was a real nice change when the "Pilgrim" came in for a couple weeks work -- really spruced up the place.

The 115' tallship, usually berthed at Dana Point, is a replica of the brig that writer Richard Henry Dana made famous in Two Years Before the Mast.

Richard,

Beautiful Brig.

Did you see Lady Washington when she was down your way? She was in company with the Hawaiian Chieftain (our SF Bay Top'sl Schooner)in the Oakland estuary in May.

In disguise, she played the part of the brig in the pirate movie, The Black Pearl. Homeport, Seattle, WA.
