Heck, I was born in Waukesha so I should know but I still don't have a clue. It's not Mr. Schley from Schley's Ice Cream, is it?

No more calls...we have a winner!!!!

My buddy did a (nice) roofing job for the unofficial king of the Les Paul fan club. That gentleman invited my friend and a friend (me) out to NYC, and got us comped into the Iridium club, where Les plays every Monday. At 89 the man is sharp as a tack, has a great sense of humor, and still plays a mean guitar, in spite of his quintuple bypass 20 years ago, and the ongoing cripling arthritis. He is truly an inspiration.

Anyway, after the gig we got smuggled through the kitchen to the "Green Room" where we talked to Les for a little while, and got our picture taken.

If he'd been playing a solid body Gibson electric guitar, I would have gotten it.

Indeed his contributions were instrumental () in the development of the electric guitar. He is also credited with inventing reverb and multitrack recording. I also learned last night that a mr Fender used to come over to his house in CA to pick his brain.....

Thanks Dave....Well, she's still sitting outside my window here, but I've got the money......NO is moving to northern TX, and we have to set a date for a midway transfer of command somehwere in Tenessee....(anyone know a good ramp with a lake suitable for a sea trial near an interstate?). We're going to wait till Ivan get's outahere though....

NO seems like a nice guy, I'm going to make sure he stops by here and says hello. I'll pay his first year, and give him the club burgee to fly in the spreader.

Oscar there are quite a few large lakes in Tenn that would fit your requirements. Dale Hollow (non TVA) and Noris are both north central Tenn. Here is a link of TVA lakes. If you want more info on the lakes I mentioned e-mail me. I can get you more details.
www.tva.gov/sites/sites_ie2.htm
Very western KY/Tenn are KY lake and Cumberland lakes both big.
Need extra crew? Norris is 4 hours away! Road trip!
Cool picture BTW

How about Douglas Lake at I-40 and I-81, or Lake Norman in NC, just off I-40 and I-77?

MAP!! What a concept! Do jet drivers use those, or just beacons and flight controllers?
