HELP, DOES ANYONE HAVE A SOURCE FOR CATALINA FACTORY COLOR MATCH GEL COAT PATCH MATERIAL. Previous supplier, SPECTRUM, has quit making anything except Qts for $65.00 where they used to have small jars. This is a bit of over kill for me and would get hard before ever using it all. I could mix color with tint from Evercoat but very hard to match. Boat is 1982 model and original color is camel. Thanks in advance.
George, I boughat a small container of white gelcoat at WM and used some tints to match the color. It takes a little messing around but you should be able to come pretty close to the current color.
BTW....are you still at Rocky Fork. I'm the guy that used to have the Rhodes 22 "Knot Perfect"
I got it from CD a couple of years ago. Tell them the year and color of your hull, mine was a perfect color match. My job wasn't the greatest, but the color hid my faults.
