I will potentially be moving from my current sailing grounds of south texas, corpus christi bay to an inland lake approximately 250 mile inland. I was searcing on the last few threads regarding moving a boat and was interested in how you moved a fin keel without a trailer. Is there a network of trailers that could be rented for the trip? I have asked for a quote from a mover, have not received it back as of yet. Are there any trailiers in the area available to rent for an 86 fin keel? If too cost prohibitive, may sell and rebuy on the lake. thanks. Dan86 FK/TR

There has got to be Catalina owner in the great Corpus Cristi area who has a trailer capable of hauling a C25 fin. Put an add in the classifieds, I'll bet someone you get a positive responce.

I used Haul-a-boat to move my big power boat San Diego to Milwaukee. Costs about $2/mile. They can put your C25 on the trailer with another bigger load.

You can find Haul-a-boat on the web.
