Because dealers could opt for around 4 dozen different options when ordering a C25, there could be considerable differences between the two boats you are considering.........or, not many at all. However, the basic boat and the standard gear offered were essentially the same for a swing keel version.

I believe the lower chain plates and stem fitting were both upgraded in the interim. Neither a big deal since both upgrades are easy to do and readily available. I would consider each boat on its merits rather than see them as apples and oranges. My 82 was sparkling on the inside when I bought it, that told me a lot about how the boat had been kept. I have seen some 25 interiors that look really beat, that would scare me.
