We just purchased a used Zodiak SB285 sport boat, Model Year 2000, to use as a dinghy for our C25. It had been stored under a tree and has waterline grunge and mold. Does anyone have experience with dinghy cleaning products that are effective for these problems? Thank you.
The fact that it was stored under a tree suggests that it has tree sap, leaf residue, etc. on it. My truck had tree sap and leaf residue on it recently, and I used Krud Kutter on it. Worked well. I sprayed it on, let it work for awhile and sprayed it off with a pressure washer. The pressure washer might be too much for the zodiac. I don't think the Krud Kutter would damage the zodiac, but read the label for guidance. You can get Krud Kutter at most builders' supplies.
