BTW, I concur with your comments about the subject line ... it sure would help search efforts if we were all a little more careful about the title we choose when we compose a thread. It would also make it easier for a member to decide to read a particular thread or bypass it, too.
Buzz, nobody uses the forum code, but if you knew the code to special fonts, colors, and sizes, you could put them in. For example codes for color look like this 6A09FF. Then as long as the viewers browser reads these codes, then the post would look special. Probably that wasn't turned on in the previous install of this forum.
Hi Spike--too bad we couldn't <i>really</i> meet when I was in SD. Good point about topic headers--I'll try to be less "creative" and more specific in the future.
Brooke: Some of us have people we can hug on a regular basis, and some of us have lost those people... Like Charlie, I'm professionally tied to the PC all day--this site is often my coffee break, lunch break, and dessert after dinner. I might "banter" too much, and I suspect I'm a little too opinionated on some things... I'll try to restrain myself--to be more like Leon Sisson and Bill Holcomb (except, of course, for the knowledge part)... (I've "backed out of" a few replies recently.)
To all: This discussion is a nice affirmation of what we have going here... As Scott says, guidelines #2, 4, 6, and 9 should be "Be nice." That about takes care of everything. (Except maybe religion and politics. )
What Dave said. Completely. One of these days I'll learn when to shut up and when to listen. Though I'm afraid it won't be till my last breath. I for one am done beating this horse.
