Back around last September we started to get together a loose group of people who were interested in forming a fleet. We held a meeting at Danfords in Port Jefferson and thats where it stopped. I was hoping that we can get the ball rolloing agin. I thought I had everyones email address, but as usual I lost them, so I'd like to see who is still out there and wants to move forward. My vision is to have 3 or 4 gatherings and/or cruises in the sound this year and see where we can take it. Racing? maybe, but more for the commradery and FUN!!!

Hi Scott,

Not a LIS c25er but one of her southern cousins on the Great South Bay. On the occasions when LIS boaters are into a gathering the Shinecock Inlet facilities would make a neat place to meet. The park there has two cranes one on either side of the bridges allowing for traversing the canal with a minimum of travail. There should be sufficient help with the mast adjustments.

Scott,
We replied to your last posting and even made a general call out to everybody. We are still very much in and up for any fun activity and a round of friendly racing. It would be a shame not to meet up again.

Scott,
I am still interested!!!! I would like to suggest Bridgeport, CT. There is a good restaurant close by to the ferry dock. How about March 4, 5 or 6. February 19th to 26 is school break in CT and some of us might be away. How about it guys (and gals if any); let's get this moving.

I suggest all email have the header LIS CATALINA 25 so as not to accidently get tossed out with the spam.

Well it looks like we got something going here...lets keep it up. If anyone knows of another C25 in their harbor, try too get them in contact with me...
