I bought the kit that Catalina Direct sells to reseal the port lights on the Catalina 25 that have the aluminum frame style windows. I have decided to replace the port lights instead because I want ones that open. Thus I have the 2 types of rubber seals that come in this kit. It will do 4 port lights. You will need in addition 3M 4200 and Boatlife sealant. There is also an excellent instruction sheet that Catalina Direct provided. The rubber seals cost me $60. If you can use this, make me an offer. I'd rather see the material get used than sit in my shop. Email is best. Thanks.
Does this kit fit the aluminum frames for 84 Catalina ports? I have 4 ports and one leaks. Do they give detailed instructions that an amateur mariner can understand? I'm interested if they will work on my boat.

Hi Gerry, I've already promised the seals to someone else, however to answer your questions, I bought the kit for my Capri even though it is actually for a Catalina 25, thus, there would have been more seals than I needed. There is enough in the kit for 4 port lights. You of course can still buy the whole kit from Catalina Direct. I think they have actually lowered the price since I bought it. As to the direction, I believe they are quite good. Through the Capri group, one of our members converted them to PDF and I would be happy to email you the file. Email me if you want a copy. Let me know if I can answer any other questions, I'll be happy to do so.
Rick, I would appreciate it if you would send me the directions. My email is : gerardben@aol.com. Would you please send me the web site address for Catalina Direct, too? Thanks, mucho, Gerry Bennett "Grenadier", FK SM, #3639 gerardben@aol.com
