Took a mental health day to sail today and had a great sail. Started out a little foggy and still, took the time to update some of the running rigging, set up my bungee tiller pilot and do some general cleaning to allow the wind to pick up. I was amazed as wind picked up, i was able to trim my jib and main after reading sail guide to trim for cruisers. I also was amazed at the effectiveness of the bungee cord in maintaining course while I got to relax and let the boat go. Wind was in the 8 to 10 knot range and I was able to make 6 mph by GPS at times! Great single handed fun in Corpus Christi Bay
