I am getting ready to install an AC distribution panel and outlets for shore power. I would like to put one outlet in the head, one somewhere by the galley, and one by the forward table. I have yet to find a good route to get wires from the lower liner to the upper liner channel. Has anyone found the secret passage? Please help!
There is none... hence why Catalina ran the conduit for the gas line... if it won't handle the additional wire, then your resigned to run another conduit either flexible or rigid.
That would certainly explain my frustration when I ran the new battery cables last year! Well, I suppose I will just run the AC lines along with them. I ran aobut 5 inches of exposed wire between the upper liner channel and the starboard settee backrest. It will be easy enough to cover up. Right now, the battery cables are not covered and I am the only one who seems to notice them. Thanks for the quick reply. I really thought I was missing something, after a lot of time of probing with a wire snake.
Arlyn, BTW- I am still trying to juggle financing the bucks for the steering mod. I am getting some of my hard earned money back from Uncle Sam soon so I hope you will still have a kit available. I fully understand the first come first served principle though.
