I'm familiar with Harbortown. I know a couple of crazy Cabin Cruiser guys over there. I kept ESSAYONS at Park Marina.
Have you seen the S2 center cockpit named "Cookie Monster?" I almost bought that boat for $4,000.00. Then I discovered her jaded past. She had a lein on her from a charter opperation in the BVIs. The Coast Guard Documentation Center guy advised me to pass on the "deal."
I replied to your past e-mail. I'll bet you didn't get it because I didn't hear back from you.
I'm still looking for a boat. Are there any "good deals" at Harbortown these days?
I'm curious why you guys prefer Allatoona over Lanier. I've been looking for a boat and a place to keep it. I live close to Woodstock and it takes me over an hour to get to Lanier.
I joined Lanier Sailing Academy's club after getting keel boat certified. They have about 25 boats for us to choose from. They are located at "Z" dock at Holiday Marina. In the four hours I get to use the boat I can make it across the lake and back. Weekends and holidays are limited to four hours.
All of the Catalinas I have looked at were on Lanier. Well, all but the Ebay boat that was at the storage yard in Kennesaw. That boat finally sold three times.
