Got a chance to come down to San Diego for the weekend of 26-27 March and my 25 is still on the trailer and snow is expected tonight. Have an event on Saturday until noon to attend on Point Loma then walking the docks looking to crew for a chance to sail.

Hey, Jim, I'm sending you an email with all the info you need to find me and the rest of Fleet 7 next weekend.

I promise you more sailing than you probably want to do!

Thanks you guys. Answered Jim's email and will get in touch. This is just great. Have a chance to bring my granddaughter who has sailed with me in the San Juans and again this season. Her folks trade off each time for their chance to cruise and then they camp on the islands. This season will be my 15 trip to the San Juans and it just gets better.
Have a story why we are coming to SD. My grandfather was the Lighthouse Keeper who tended the beacons of SD Bay entrance and the Cabrillo National Park is having an open house Saturday morning and one of the pictures in the new facility, the Assistant Keepers Quarters, being presented is of my Grandparents with my Dad and his sister when they lived on Ballast Point. James Relue and Celia Sweet with my Dad who will be 99 on April 15. You can just about guess how old I am.
Thanks for the great welcome.

Yeah, Gary, can you send me some of those photos in full resolution?

I really like the fishing on the bow shot.

Well didn't get to go sailing but sure enjoyed meeting you sailors. Your place looked really good and hope to meet there again with more time to sail. Will start planning how to get a trip together in the future so we can sail with you for a while. Thanks for your warm welcome.

Jim, it was great meeting you and sorry we didn't have more time to go sailing. Please try to come down for a longer visit soon, and bring the boat!
