Hi there, A while back, someone (Frank, was that you?) posted some picks on how he modified his Garelick heavy duty motor mount so it would go down further. So I tried doing a search for "motor mount" in each individual forum, and each time I get a message "script timed out". Is there any way I can change the timing on my end?
I want to look at that motor mount modification again, (this is the modification where one more notch was added to the control arm) and find out if the arms had to be removed from the mount, or if the modifications were done while on the motor.
I'm trying to get some things done before my Tortugas trip. I got the Tiller Pilot all wired up yesterday, including the remote control wiring. Hope it works.
Try searching just the "Catalina 25 Specific" forum separately, instead of all forums. If you don't find it there, try the "General" forum separately. I think our search engine isn't very powerful.

Frank, It looks like you already tried to search in each forum separately. What might be more successful is to check the “Subject Line” in the “Search In” box. It will only search the subject of the threads and not have to wade through so much material. The default is to search every message in all threads. I rarely can get it to do that without it “timing out”. Good Luck
Take pictures and a log on your trip. I’m always looking for good Mainsheet material.

Thanks

Hi Frank, I git your email. There are three reasons that I feel I drilled my new hole too far from the originals. First is the springs get really hard to push when below horizontal. Second the large pieces of channel will run into each other. Third the mount drags. I really think the distance should be 2/3 the normal spacing. Take the sides off with the mount in the raised position and the springs will not even be an issue.
