Don't have Bomars but I have Lewmar opening port lights with screens in the head and am toying with the idea of installing one in the v-berth hatch to allow air & light without the hatch having to be opened.
The cut out for the head windows in my 1977 is 6 1/4" x 15 1/4". The N2414 portlights are 6 1/8" x 15 15/16" so a little trimming of the opening will be required. The width between the bulkheads is 23" so a wider portlight would fit. I spoke to Bomar and there are a few frame and light choices. I am thinking about going with the powder coated white frame and the smoked lights as oposed to the anodized aluminum.
Great picture on a great boat! I still LOL when I think about the jingle from a store in Maine. It goes "You should have bought it when you saw it at.....Mardens"
Mardens was an retail ebay before ebay was invented. A few of my "scores" include 1/2 in hammer drill-$15, B&d table saw-$100 Carpet for basement-$300.
Now on to the point of my reply. The Lewmar ports were factory at some point. I am guessing when they went to the plexiglass windows. I have the same portlights on 5775. And you are only 3 Hn's away from being 5665..........
