Well, I ask about the possibility of getting a special TX number for the boat at Texas parks and Wild'f . NO CAN DO! Why can't boat owners have the same opportunity as motorists in choosing their "Vehicle ID" How could Texas boat owners mount a champaign to
get TPW to accept a $50.00 fee to register "Pristige" ID's. DPS doesn't seem to have a problem with it. It's not like Parks and Wildlife could't use the money!

I am a Game Warden in Wyoming and I think that is a great idea.
I think our Department might jump on that, we need the money.

Is the format of boat registration numbers (two letters -space- four numbers -space- two letter state abbreviation) state or federally controlled?

I would think if you only get to 'personalize' the four numbers that not many people would be interested in paying to do that.
