The furler line is cutting throught the black plastic fittings that bring the line back to the cockpit. I believe there was a recent discussion about this but I can't find it. What are the solutions to this problem?
I had mentioned this problem in earlier post. I picked a couple SS inserted fairleads from WM for around $5 apiece. Be sure to measure bolt center to center, mine were 1.00". this is so you can use existing holes in cabin roof. These screws are threaded into cabin top and do not go through with bolts on underneath. Use some sort of adhesive/sealant when installing so water will not seep into core and cause future problems. The replacement fairleads are 1/8-1/4" taller, but that is not a concern. It is an easy replacement job since I did it and it would have to be easy for me as I am not what you a craftsman by any stretch.
