I have been lurking around here since early March 05. We are Pregnant with KnotALot a C250WB.

Have gleened a ton of valuable advice and ideas from the forum and wanted to say thank you before I start to hurl a ton of questions that I'm sure will arise over the next few months.

Our plan is to trail and sail KnotALot, storing her on the trailer at our landlocked home. First sail is planned to be at Black Point Marina on Biscayne Bay.

Joint Decision. (Sold)
PO C250WB 2005 Sail # 841.

Welcome! Let the questions fly. The only bad question is the one not asked.

Welcome aboard! Biscayne Bay sounds like a great place to get going. Especially this time of year. I had Chick-a-pea down there a couple of years back. We sailed to the Bimini Islands from Homestead Bayfront Park. Take lots of pics and keep a journal.

Thanks Ben,
In anticipation we drove down to Black Point Marina to check out the launch facility.
Execellent! 4 Ramps 24x7x365, helpful staff, a 5th ramp for busy periods. it's $10/day parking for a trailer or $120 per year. The annual fee seems well worth it, that would equate to 10 nights on board during the year, and we plan on quite a few long weekends.

We'll take plenty of pics, Peggy has an Olympus Camedia C700 digital.

We should be picking up the boat by the end of April. (and a new truck by the sound of things so far.)

Is the check list on the forum up to date?

Paul
