From CNN today;

<b>Summer Gas prices may be third-highest</b>

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -- United States drivers will pay an average $1.46 for a gallon of gasoline during the busy summer driving season, 8 cents lower than last summer's average but the third-highest on record, the government said on Monday.

My friend's powerboat burns around $150.00 per hour vs my $20.00 per SEASON!

Hopefully this means less stinkboaters out on the water....of course it will also mean less noise and less idiots. (and more expensive committe boats)

I am always amazed as I walk by our club's gas pump as it's ringing up $250-300 for a 22' boat with twin 225s on it... And a substantial amount of the oil they mix into the gas ends up in the water. <img src=icon_smile_dead.gif border=0 align=middle>
