SAW A CATALINA 27 RIGGED WITH A PADEYE THAT FITS IN THE MAST SLOT WITH A BLOCK ATTACHED TO RUN THE MAIN HAYLARD TO THE COCKPIT. HAVE LOOKED ALL OVER AND HAVEN'T TURNED ONE UP YET. ANY OF YOU FOLKS HAVE AN IDEA WHERE I MAY AQUIRE ONE? WEST MARINE, SHAFFER, AND HARKEN DON'T HAVE IT. STIX AND RIGIN IN KEHMA HAVE USED THEM BUT KELLY DIDN'T REMEMBER WHERE HE FOUND THEM. I found this site a couple of years ago when I was looking for a replacement masthead sheave. If I remember correctly, I did find a sheave on their website that came close to fitting, but I didn't order it.
I have about 6 of those in various sizes in one of the lockers in my boat. I had no clue what they were and still don't know what they were used for on her. Now maybe I'll have some ideas.
