I went down to the marina this afternoon to check the progress of the bimini being built for Knotty Cat. Hooray their are almost done. The bimini was lashed down to the deck but not mounted yet. The main was gone off the boom. They are installing a Flattening Reef in order to gain more standing room under the bimini. If all goes well it should be finished in time to do some sailing this weekend.
While I was down at the boat I noticed a brand new 250 WB has moved in a couple slips over from me. Maybe I will get to met the owner this weekend.
The bimini is done! I had the maker include a zipper across the front of the bimini so I can add a shade tarp over the companionway later. Plenty of head room over the wing seats but the best part is, I can stand under the bimini. Here's a couple pictures. (don't look at the black streaks on the hull), The wind was blowing too much to sail today, so I gave her a good scrubbing this afternoon.
