Tina, the woman who owns the 30 Hunter in the slip next to my boat, had her friend Marge visiting last weekend. As I walked past them on the dock, Tina accidentally stumbled into Marge, who then fell against me, knocking me right into the cold marina water. At first they were mortified and then, when they found out I was okay, they began sobbing with relief. There was only one thing for me to do. I climbed back on the dock and told them, "Don't cry for me Marge and Tina."
......"I know you dont have any dry clothes. I have a washer AND dryer on my boat. Why don't you come aboard, have a drink, and I will handle your clothes."
I confess my inability to conclude the basis for this story which seems open ended... but would suggest that if it is moral judgement...then it is inapropriate to the forum.
Feel free to use it Ben. I've written a humor column for several years for a regional magazine and wrote an entire 600 word column with "don't cry for me Marge and Tina" as the punchline.
