we wanted to have a small microwave oven on board, the problem was where to put it and how to secure it. the space that used to hold the origional cooler, that we have not been using was fitted with a new shelve to hold the microwave oven, and the tv hold down brackets from west marine were used to LOCK it place. it looks like it came with the boat.
We put ours on the counter top next to the stove burner. I cut a piece of 1/4 or 3/8 inch plywood to cover the counter top so that the door clears the edge teak. I secure it with a heavy bungie cord (the ones with the plastic covered metal curly ends)from the front of the metal bracket next to the burner over to the metal conduit that protects the LPG line under the DC power panel. I'll try to take a picture of it this weekend.
